About the Full-Day Quad Tour in Merzouga
The full-day quad tour from Merzouga is the most complete riding experience we offer. It is built for people who are comfortable on a quad, physically fit and keen to see the desert in depth — not only the famous dunes of Erg Chebbi, but the vast landscapes that surround them.
A full day allows a proper journey: long sections of riding, time to rest during the hottest hours, and stops that give context to what you are seeing. Your guide knows the tracks around Merzouga and will plan the route with you in advance, based on your experience, the season and what interests you most.
Because it is demanding, the full-day tour is always planned individually. We confirm the route, the timing and what is included before you commit, so there are no surprises on the day. If we feel a shorter ride would be safer or more enjoyable for you, we will say so.
Highlights
- The longest and most varied ride we offer
- Erg Chebbi plus the wider desert landscapes
- Route planned individually with you

Is the Full-Day Quad Tour right for you?
Book the full-day quad tour if you have solid quad or motorbike experience, if you have already ridden in sand, or if you are an adventurous traveller who wants a full day in the desert rather than a short activity.

How long is the full-day quad tour?
Around seven hours including a long midday break. The exact timing is agreed with you when you book.
Can beginners do the full-day quad tour?
We do not recommend it for complete beginners. A full day in sand is physically demanding; start with the 2-hour or 3-hour ride.

Autumn, winter and spring are best. In summer, long rides are only possible very early in the day because of the heat.
How do I book the Full-Day Quad Tour?
Send us a message on WhatsApp or use the booking form with your date, number of people and hotel. We confirm availability and the exact time, usually within a few hours. No online payment is needed to request a booking.
